WHAT IS TLC MEDICAL BILLING'S SERVICE LEVEL GUARANTEE (SLG)?

Within 24 hours of receipt of accurate and complete information, patient claims are reviewed for correct medical coding, data entered, downloaded through Medisoft electronic medical billing system and submitted for payment with reports provided as requested or required

Within 48 hours of receipt of your deposit showing receipts along with the Explanation of Benefits (EOB), deposits are listed, patient payments posted, files updated, secondary claims printed and sent out for co-payments with reports provided as requested or required

Within 5 business days (with the exception of possible coordination of benefit (COB) issues) rejected and/or denied claims are reviewed, researched, corrected and submitted payment or appeal. They are prioritized daily to meet the SLG.

Note: Statistically, 98% of Medicare claims appealed are paid but very few are ever appealed!
